For the first time at BNC, the Celebration Singers and Orchestra along with special guests presented a praise and worship concert like no other! Alleluia – some of Bill Gaither’s best loved music!
There’s never been a praise and worship concert quite like this at BNC. The response from those attending each night were one of reverent praise and worship! Some stated that they felt as if they were indeed standing on holy ground.
For me, it was more. Watching people from the media booth, I leaned over to another sound guy and said in response to all the raised hands praising God with tears in my eyes,
“Just look at the praise here in this sanctuary. Imagine, just imagine what heaven will be like when we all join in praise and worship to the Father in Heaven!”
The concert, all three nights, was anointed and we can really take little credit for what happened. If everyone who was involved in it was honest, we were merely being obedient and responding to God. God was the one that did the blessing and anointing each night through us! It’s as simple as that!
God does that in our everyday lives as well. If we just let Him, He will move into areas of our lives that we turn over in obedience to Him and He can then make something beautiful happen! And our response to Him ought always to be praise!
Psalm 95:1-6 Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.
